Jonas Mekas: Centennial Exhibition and Presentation Series is a year-long film screening exhibition and program series that will open January 2022 at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City. Mekas, a filmmaker whose entire career was dedicated to exploring the human experience through film, broadened the appreciation and access of experimental film beyond the mainstream to diverse audiences. The film and presentation series will offer free curated viewing programs every month throughout the year that include special presentations from academic partners, curatorial selections from organization partners, lectures, and digital archive access through our website.
