Open Call
The Highlight Wall is a dedicated space at Mana Contemporary designed to showcase the work of artists within our community. This initiative provides a focused opportunity to feature a single artwork representing the artist’s practice, offering visibility within a high-traffic space.
Open to Mana-affiliated artists who have been a part of the community for over a year, this program highlights the diverse talent within our community, celebrating individual artistic voices through a rotating display. Selected artists will present one significant work that speaks to their current explorations, creative process, or conceptual interests. Works in all mediums suited for wall presentation—including painting, drawing, photography, print, and mixed media—are welcome.
The featured work will remain on view for two months, and the artist will have the opportunity to share insights about their practice through a short written statement or optional public engagement. This program aims to foster connection and recognition among Mana artists while providing a platform for meaningful exposure.
Eligibility: Open to artists with a current studio at Mana Contemporary.
Submission Requirements:
- A high-quality image of the proposed work
- A brief statement (150–250 words) about the piece and its relevance to your practice
- An updated artist bio
Deadline: July 31, 2025
Submission will be reviewed in August, with an announcement by the end of August of selected artists. The review will be done by Mana and Monira Staff.
