Monira Fridays: EMERGE NOIR

Revel in the 1940s film noir world: Live performances, art displays, vendors, and curated installations all with a jazzy noir ambiance.

Evoke the spirit of classic Hollywood, a Gatsby night, cloaked in mystery and intrigue, as you step into an evening that celebrates both the old and the new.

The night features live music, art installations related to film, curated vendors, a screening and more!

Curated vendors include Bash & Pop Records (vinyl), record players present to listen to vinyl, live typewritten poetry, tarot card readings, perfume scent experience, custom made smoke trays, vintage threads, clothes, antique items, artwork and thrift.

Stage design is done in collaboration with photographer + set designer Ciara Nicdao and Diego Roq. Unique photobooth concept led by Diego Roq with photographers Amaku and C BO present.

This event is presented by Monira Foundation & ROQ Initiative and is supported by the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust fund.
