Join us on Sunday, December 17 for a new Maker Space Activity for children: Stories About Nature, in connection with our new exhibition Memory Gap by Yoonhee Ryoony Suh.
Stories About Nature is an art activity for children and families where we will analyze our environment and the importance of our connections with nature, spaces that become a canvas for learning through play and discovery. Using a wide range of materials (plant-based and other materials extracted from natural resources) and exploring concepts of visual storytelling in art, children will create mixed media compositions of visual narratives based on their connections with nature. Participants will be able to create and take home their own art projects, while learning about the work and creative process of the artist Yoonhee Ryoony Suh.
