DO NOTHING AND PRINT : A Workshop
Friday May 9, 12-3pm
What happens when we embrace stillness and let the sun do the work? Do Nothing and Print is an invitation to slow down, observe, and engage with cyanotype printing as a meditative practice. This workshop isn’t about technical perfection—it’s about presence, process, and discovery.
Together, in this workshop we’ll explore the fundamentals of cyanotype—coating paper, exposing images, and working with natural light—while shifting our focus from mastery to mindfulness. Through hands-on experiments and shared readings, we’ll consider how printing without a camera changes the way we see, move, and exist in time.
Working with the sun, with stillness, and with materials both personal and found, this workshop offers a space to pause, play, and reflect—not just on what we create, but on the act of creation itself.
Let’s do nothing—and print.
