Join us in Discovering Artist and Writer Sam Circle reads their incredible poetry inside the Andy Warhol exhibition at Mana Contemporary as part of the Jersey City Reads Poems program at the Monira Foundation.
This dynamic poetry series, part of the Discovering Program at Monira Foundation, amplifies marginalized voices within Jersey City. In this special event, poets Sara Munjack, Sam Circle, Idris, and Shannon Pulusan present original works inspired by the iconic installations of artists Dan Flavin, Arnulf Rainer, Andy Warhol, and John Chamberlain. Through ekphrastic poetry, they explore the powerful intersections of art and language, creating a rich dialogue between visual and verbal expression.
