In this focused two-person exhibition featuring the work of Jinwoo Kim in collaboration with Wonsook Kim, A Paradigm Shift: The Passing, transformation unfolds not as a singular event, but as a layered condition—one that exists simultaneously in matter and in human experience.

At first glance, the works appear to occupy entirely different worlds. One emerges from industrial material—stainless steel, engineered motion, and controlled systems—yet resists fixity, dissolving into an entangled, almost organic presence. Structure here is no longer rigid; it breathes, bends, and redefines itself. What was once constructed becomes something alive. In contrast, the other work turns inward. Through figuration and narrative stillness, it reflects on the human condition—on vulnerability, memory, and the quiet persistence of being. The figures inhabit a space that feels both temporal and suspended, as though caught between past and becoming. Together, these two works form a dialogue between outer systems and inner states. Between what is built and what is felt. Between the visible order of the world and the invisible shifts within the self.

This exhibition proposes that a paradigm shift is not only structural, technological, or external—it is deeply personal. It occurs in silence, in tension, and in the subtle transformation of perception. In the space between structure and being, something begins to change. This exhibition is not about change we see— but about the shift we slowly become.
