Each video shot by Diego Roque opens the door to unseen worlds.
This month features Polwin morton
Pol Morton is a chronically ill non-binary artist making assemblage paintings about queerness, transness, and disability. In Morton’s diaristic paintings, oil paint surrounds and sometimes encrusts collaged materials such as medical debris and resin-coated sequins, playing with the beauty in the experiences of injury, infection, and recovery. Their work takes on intimate, quotidian moments—lying in bed, taking a bath, walking around the city of New York with a cane, and staring at doves having sex through the window. Learn more about their process in their own words as they take you on a beautiful studio visit.
