Join us for a day of screenings, exhibitions, and open studios celebrating the work of Monira’s artists-in-residence alongside guest artists. Experience moving images, performances, installations, and exhibitions that expand the boundaries of cinema and visual art.

Open Book (altered) | 1st Floor | 12–6pm
Monira Foundation, in collaboration with Mana Contemporary, is proud to present the next installment of our Open Book exhibition series: Open Book (altered). This exhibition showcases artists who transform printed matter—such as books, tickets, tags, currency, clippings, and more—into innovative visual forms and complex layered narratives.
Featuring: Sam Colt, Aileen Bassis, Doug Beube, Kate Dood, David Friedman, Jaz Graf, Valerie Huhn, Raymond Mingst, Deborah Morris, Maria Veronica San Martin, Danielle Scott and Jonathan Twingley.

A collaborative film between Katharina Gruzei and Ann Messner. 16′:08″ silent film that is a documentation of the artist’s interference with traffic cams taking place in both Vienna and NY. Filmed as screen captures on their respective computers.
